Biennially Archiprix International presents the world's best graduation projects in the fields of architecture, urban design and landscape architecture. All university-level training colleges around the world are invited to take part by selecting and submitting their best graduation project. Archiprix International forms the largest presentation of graduation work and offers unrivalled insight into current trends in design education globally and architecture generally.

The initiative reflects rapid international developments in the design disciplines. Recent decades have seen an explosive growth in the scale of international contact, resulting in lively exchanges world-wide. Increasing numbers of designers work on commissions abroad, professional journals are published on an international scale, and training colleges are becoming more and more international in their orientation.
Archiprix International forms an expanding international platform for training colleges and newly graduated, talented designers. It spotlights international trends in architecture, urban design and landscape architecture and brings designers together. The website contains over 1000 projectpresentations covering designtrends and topics over the past decade.
An independent international  jury rewards the very best submissions with the Hunter Douglas Awards. The aim of the awards is to stimulate the introduction of starting, talented designers into the world of professional practice. The best projects will receive the Hunter Douglas Awards at a special award ceremony. The award ceremony is accompanied by a conference, a series of presentations of participating projects, and an exhibition. The participants in Archiprix International are invited to join an international design workshop taking place at the hosting univerity the week before the award ceremony.
The Archiprix website displays presentations of all projects submitted, including presentations of the projects submitted for the 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2013 editions,. And it contains the world's largest database of universities and colleges teaching architecture, urban design and landscape architecture with connections to the projects they submitted over the years.

Additionally there are four 50 minutes docunentaries on the editions in Glasgow 2003, Shanghai 2005, MIT Cambridge USA 2011 and Markhi Strelka Moscow 2013, And interviews with architects and participants and a growing collection of short interviews about participants ambitions and main sources of inspirtation. 
After successful editions in 2001 in Rotterdam, 2003 in Istanbul, 2005 in Glasgow, 2007 in Shanghai, 2009 in Montevideo, 2011 in Cambrigde (Mass.. USA), 2013 in Moscow, Archiprix International will again stage a unique presentation of the world's best graduation projects in Madrid in 2015. 
Over 1500 faculties from more than 100 countries are invited to take part. This makes Archiprix International by far the biggest competition for newly graduated architects, urban designers and landscape architects.
