The mission of Stichting SLA is to initiate and promote ideas for smart buildings and cities. Architecture and urbanism which combines an optimal performance with a minimal footprint.

From 1998 on the Smart Architecture research project as a virtual laboratory has been used intensively. A shared database of ideas, reactions, essays, examples, resources and links is build up.
